Take that!

Younger Brother made Big Sis mad this morning.

So she scribbled this picture and held it up at him and yelled, "(Brother)...this is a SCARY picture!"

Hear ye! Hear ye!

It has been decided upon! A name for the newest member of the M family!

A conversation took place between the children shortly before she was born that went something like this...

Big Sis: "It's going to be a girl."

Both Brothers: "No, it's a boy!"

Big Sis: "No, a girl!! And name her Princess Aurora!"

(For anyone unfamiliar with the reference, Aurora is the real name of Sleeping Beauty.)

We do not use actual names here on 365 Maze Days, but when I was in the hospital I was told that Big Sis was correcting Grandma M, whom she believed was mispronouncing her baby sister's given name. She insisted...

"No....it's Au-ROR-a!"

And so without further ado, I hereby announce to the world of 365 Maze Days, that she shall be called...

"Littlest Sis" And Her Giant Baby

This one's for you Aunt L! :)

There will soon be a reassigning of characters on 365 Maze Days...being that Littlest Sis is no longer the youngest of the bunch. (Stay tuned for that in a following post.)

However, from the looks of it, it may not be long until she is actually the littlest!

Sweet Dreams

64 Teeth

Today was Big Sis's very first trip to the Dentist.

She has accompanied her brothers on teeth cleanings in the past, so she hopped right up into the chair and settled in like a pro.

But she was super excited when she was given the option to accessorize!!!

She got to keep the glasses as a souvenier.

Biggest Brother and Younger Brother also had appointments. Naturally, Younger brother decided he needed the glasses too.

It is a blinding light after all!

I will admit, I wasn't exactly looking forward to taking 5 kids to the Dentist's office. But given that we were there for a full two hours, I'd say it went quite well.

We left with no cavities, no major catastrophes, and 64 sparkling teeth to show for it!

Behold - A Belly Button!

After an extended time of five weeks, baby girl and her umbilical stump finally parted ways.

And in its place, a beautiful new belly button!

Talking Transaction

Big Sis just brought me a nickel that she found in the house and said, "Here Mommy, this money says it's for [Big Sis] shoes!"
