Puppy Love

I had to pause while making dinner to capture the sweet little scene taking place in the piano room next door. Littlest Sis loves Liberty! Or as she calls her, "Daawg".

And Liberty is most patient with Littlest Sis. I gather she likes the attention.

Sis was trying very hard to assist Libbs with her collar...though mostly she kept trying to fit it around her like a belt.

Aww, that's love!

Nasty-grams!

Is it terrible that I thought this spat between Brother and Sis was totally hilarious?! I decided to let them "work it out" and grabbed for my camera instead.

I think she won.
:)

Backyard Fun

I can't believe I forgot to post this! It's just a few shots of our time spent in the backyard that I had saved in my drafts...and forgot to hit "post". Oops. Enjoy. :)
I think this is the, "Really mom? Another picture?" shot.

This was Littlest Sis's first time in the sandbox.

She wasn't too sure about the sand between her toes...

but quickly decided she liked it, a lot!
Now it's one of her favorite things to do.

Mommy's equestrienne in the making...she prefers to swing on the swing like it's a horse! :)
And it's even more fun when Brother joins in!

I have to say, her balance is pretty darn good.

Biggest Brother is always working on some kind of habitat for something. Here it was either moths or worms.

And Younger Brother is always working on new ways to scare the neighbors.
This time, he decided to climb out the window of the tree house and swing Tarzan style across the swing chains. I think he's mostly gotten me over the gasp factor. So I have to give him props for stunts like these. That's got to take some serious upper body strength!

Fashion, Do!

I pulled some of Big Sis's old play clothes out for Littlest Sis yesterday. And it's official. If anyone can get get away with spandex, and do it well, it's Little Miss Tiny Hiney!

Mommies can't help but take pictures of such kinds of cuteness! :)

Sunday Best

The girls looked so sweet in their coordinating outfits on Sunday, that I had to get a few pics when we got home from church.

My musical girl (one of them), singing very loudly!

Brother is hilarious!!!

See!

My Babies!

Gone Swimmin'

Littlest Sis was stylin' in the suit Big Sis picked out for at Old Navy for her. And once again, she welcomed the water like one of the big kids!

If in "kidland", disheveled = good times, then Big Sis had a blast!
Actually, they all had a blast...daddy just got to everyone else with a wet wipe before I took this picture! :)

Surprise Contender

The kids tried out their new slip n' slide today. I decided to bring Littlest Sis out for just a minute before nap time so as not to leave her out...fully expecting her to object to the cold water. But much to my surprise, she had the most fun of everyone!

No trouble keepin' up with the bros!

This was cracking me up!! She was in such a good mood that she kept stopping and singing. In this pic, she is singing Happy Birthday to me...and pointing at me to be sure I'm getting the dedication.
She makes me smile! :)

Pint Sized Soccer

The boys both had their first soccer practice this evening. They were sooo excited!

This is Younger Brother's very first time playing a sport.
(He's in yellow.)

I think his coaches should look into getting a Border Collie to keep all of the four year olds on the field. At least during games they will all be chasing after the same ball. :)

The cheer section!

Mommies vs Milestones

I had a bittersweet moment this evening when I realized that this was the last time I would be tucking in a 2yo Big Sis...tomorrow she's going to be a big grown up 3yo!
(smile, sniff)

Night night, sleep tight, see you in the morning light!
Happy Birthday Eve my sweet girl!!!

Thanks B!

This is what happens when you are giving your daughters a bath and sitting precariously close to the toilet when your 4yo son with zero ability to aim comes in behind you to use the restroom.

4th of July Weekend part 1

We kicked off the holiday weekend with our honorary 4th of July trip to Ash Cave with Mom and Dad M.

Littlest Sis was not quite sure how she felt about the backpack. But the company of "Puppy" made it tolerable.

A princess always prefers to be carried over walking.

Smile! Uhh...that's not smiling.

There ya go.

Something caught the girls' attention...I think it was a Brother.

Can you find Daddy?
He was making me nervous!

Back at the picnic tables for lunch, Littlest Sis found her very first stick!
Sticks are wonderful!

And then, Grandma let her discover dirt!
DIRT is wonderful!!!

And trees!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM & DAD M!!!
