The current situation:
She somehow stole his gum - that he was chewing.
She stuffed it in her mouth and refused to give it back.
I intervened with an "ultimatum" and began counting, "1-2..."
She chewed extra fast for counts 1 and 2, and spit the gum into my hand a nanosecond before 3.
Now he's upset because - he wants it back!
