Checkups and More Checkups

Well, it's that time again...time for all of the yearly well-visits. Biggest Brother and Big Sis had a much easier go than Littlest Sis earlier in the week. However, we did still take an honorary trip to Target afterward.

Big Sis did not need any shots. She did however, get her toe pricked to test for anemia and lead. It was not a big deal. But to her, she had been mortally wounded. Here she is elevating her injury!

Biggest Brother did get a shot. The last time he got one, he was lying on the exam table and Younger Brother socked him right as he got stuck. The resulting screams got the attention of everyone in the waiting room according to my husband.
This time, he was truly a man about it! (And Younger Brother was at home with dad.) He had the choice of starting his Hep.A series now or at a later date, and he chose to get it over with. He watched and didn't even flinch. I was quite impressed!

He was happy to show off the bandaid though.

.
Big Sis however, was rendered totally unable to walk...

That is, until she spotted some purple rain boots.

They must be magic boots because all of a sudden she can walk, and her day is 100% improved!
