Memories and Celebrations part 2

Birthdays are a big deal in our house! So instead of celebrating just the birth day, celebrations extend to include birthday eve and birthday weekend (the weekend closest to the actual birthday.) And Big Sis had quite the birthday weekend! You've seen the memories. And now, the celebrations.........

setting out the goodies on birthday eve

Her day began with a princess purse, which she kept on her arm as she began checking out her surprises.

First Barbie

Daddy had the favorite gift of the day...a set of play dishes!

New Kicks

Here is Biggest Brother quickly losing patience with Younger Brother calling him "Strawberry Shortcake."

And here's Younger Brother demonstrating what Biggest Brother did in response to his taunts. Daddy said to Biggest Brother, "Did you just hit her present?" Biggest Brother replied, "No! I just hit him!"

Littlest Sis watching the festivities...and the brawl

checking out how Barbie's hair changes color in cold water

Barbie enjoyed a bubble bath in the sink.

Next, it was on to Grandma K's house! Grandma got Sis a very sweet vanity for her room. I didn't think Sis would even know what a vanity was, but she knows it's girly, and she made a bee-line for it the second we walked in the door!

Some New Shades

That's one large cupcake!

Day 2 of the birthday festivities....it was on the Grandpa G's house for a family get together and trains!

This gift was a favorite....It's a talking mirror that says, "You're a pretty princess!" "You're beautiful!" and "How pretty!" Of course, she loved it!

Baby got a new car seat.

Sis "leaving" with baby

If you're going to eat with your fingers, do it with pinky raised in true princess fashion!

Littlest Sis thinks it's fun to go to Grandpa's house too!

wearing the BirthdayPrincess hat featured in the last post

Once again.......HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG SIS!!!

WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
