Summertime Serenity

In my mind, there are few things that rival the peacefulness of a hazy late summer afternoon in the horse pasture. I love the stillness, the quiet, the warm air like a blanket. And the only sound, the gentle snorts of the horses as they graze, swishing tails, and the occasional stomp of a hoof. I could sit out here all day!

I particularily love this pic of Sugar. I think it captures the scene quite well. She was my first horse, and has been a member of our family for more than 16 years.
Love you Sug! You're the best!
Thanks for all of the late summer afternoons the two of us have shared!
